At the core of our project lay the Japanese concept of "Tsumugu" – to weave. Embracing this ethos, we fostered inclusive dialogues, intricately interlacing diverse perspectives and lived experiences of those intimately acquainted with the city's evolution. Collaborating closely with artists, who contributed their unique specialties to contextualize our messages, we crafted a narrative that transcended boundaries, offering profound reflections on the intricate fabric of urban life.

As we traced the trajectory of Roppongi's history, the project became a catalyst for contemplation, inviting all to reflect on this vibrant locale's past, present, and future through the lens of artistic and collaborative expression. Rooted in our desire to forge strong connections between art and the urban fabric, we aimed to cultivate a sense of belonging and kinship within the community, weaving together threads of creativity, culture, and collective identity.

Commencing in 2018 to commemorate the 15th anniversary of Roppongi Hills and the Mori Art Museum, the project was envisioned to culminate by the 20th anniversary, marking a transformative journey spanning six impactful years.
